Sunrise in Venice is a most pleasant time. It is quiet, uncrowded,
and full of excellent light, even if the sun isn't out.
The sun comes up in a place that lights the Riva Schiavoni and Piazza
San Marco in a way different from all the rest of the day. Beautiful
pictures can be had, even if it's a bit foggy.
The tour will usually begin at San Marco at about sunrise (or an early
starting time of your choice), and continue for 2 1/2- 3 hours as the sun
comes up. One never realizes how fast the sun moves until trying to
capture specific lighting conditions.
Once the sun is up and we have exhausted our opportunities in San
Marco, we will move from there through other parts of Venice getting
some morning shots.
You will come away with some excellent shots, hopefully learned
something, and have a great deal of fun doing it.
