Afternoon is the time of long shadows, and is the time preferred by
professional photographers. The light in Venice is beautiful at this time
of day, and some very interesting pictures can be had.
The tour can start at or after 2:00 p.m., depending on your schedule. As
the afternoon progresses the light changes and the shadows get longer,
giving us a constant source of beautiful pictures.
Because this is a very busy time of day for the main attractions, the tour
will normally be more off the beaten path, except that we go to the
Accademia Bridge, and end the tour in or around San Marco.
