The Cannaregio section of Venice is tucked away on the northern edge
of the city.  It is a neighborhood with many interesting things to see, but
where few tourists roam.  There are small wine bars where one can get a
bit of cicchetti and wine or beer while taking a rest from the rigors of
touring.  Because of the orientation of the streets, it is usually very sunny
and warm during the afternoon, and a little rest is welcome.

The tour includes a walk through the Jewish Ghetto, although we do not
go inside any museums or synagogues.
